Although the name of Eddie Cheever certainly doesn’t need any introduction in motorsport circles, this particular Cheever, is the 27-year-old son of the former Formula 1 star and Indianapolis 500 winner.

Eddie Cheever III is an exceptionally talented and accomplished racing driver in his own right, successfully competing in a diverse range of categories, including Formula Abarth & Renault, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, International & Blancpain GT, the Le Mans 24 Hours and the prestigious FIA World Endurance Championship.

In 2016 he won the Italian European F3 Championship and was second in the Italian Formula 3 championship. In the same year Eddie also won the Italian GT3 championship and tested for Ferrari Formula 1. Before joining SKY Tempesta Racing in 2017, where he has contributed to the rise of this ambitious, sports racing team, on and off the track.

Behind the wheel Cheever played his part in the team, winning both the Pro-Am Sprint and the overall Pro-Am Championships in 2020.

Eddie’s powerful combination of experience, talent and teamwork has helped drive the Tempesta’ Team’s winning streak in 2020 and has undoubtedly set the scene for even greater success in the future.
